Ralph-
More than a year has passed since you moved on. Although I wasn't ready to have you go, I understand that you are part of a greater plan I cannot understand with my earthly intelligence. You are so desperately missed by all of us, especially your wife, the dearest friend of my heart. I only wish I knew how to help her more.
The bird I wear on my wrist each day reminds me that the bonds of true friendship and love can never be severed-certainly not by something like death. When I am in Mexico at the house you built with such love and care, I breathe in your spirit and feel lonely but better. LOVE IS STRONGER THAN DEATH! You were a gift in my life that I will be eternally grateful for. I would have loved to have seen your sparkling blue eyes when we were old folks together, but I know I will see them when I get to the other side. Save a good spot for me, buddy. I love you.
Your Pal,
Jane
