Dear Mom,
You are the kindest most wonderful woman that I will have ever had the pleasure of knowing. You came to my rescue when I was just a little baby and you took me away from the hospital I had been at for over a year. You adopted me and made me your own. You tried and tried and finally, because of you, I was able to overcome all the problems I was born with. Because of you. I'm a straight A student in college. You also rescued my brother who was to go to college and be an architect. Mom we are soo lost without you. You were our light. You kept us safe. Dad just wonders around in a daze without you know. You passed away on 2/22/02. It wierd. I don't even know how it happened. Parents don't die. They just don't. At least not when your 18 and your brother is 16. and you were only a week from celebrating your 20th anniversary with dad. It happened so fast. You were only sick for a day. We were supposed to go out and eat. But instead I was greeted with this horrible news when i came home from college. Mom I miss you soo much. It's so hard to be here without you. You were my best friend. I love you mom. I hope your happy in Heaven. watch over me and i'll see you again soon.
Love,
Valeria
