Michael passed away on September 9,2002 of pancreatic cancer. He had been receiving treatments for a stomach ulcer and was not diagnosed with cancer until 3 weeks before he died. He and I had been best friends for 31 years. We could laugh and talk about anything...and he always knew what to say to make things better. His daughter and I have always been close and she has been my salvation. I miss him with each tick of the clock, and going on with work and everyday living has been almost impossible. It has been so lonely to try and deal with this. There seems to be very little understanding on the part of both family and friends during this time. I never knew how much I had depended on him until he was gone and now it is too late. I hope and pray that when my time is through on earth that he and I will know each other in the hereafter.
