In Loving Memory of
RAYMOND A. BUTLER

Born in Arkona, Ontario on May 26, 1931
Passed Away August 19, 1998

To my Dad, a compassionate man, a loving son, husband, father, grandfather and friend, never to be forgotten by those who had the privilege of knowing him:

You stood tall and straight and you carried the weight of the years that had passed you by,
Your heart was open, your dreams still alive, and you did not want to die.
But in a breath you were gone from us and we'll always feel the pain,
Of knowing we can never feel your tender strength again.

Our family chain is broken - it will never be the same,
And when we're all together, the room echoes with your name.
Although you're gone sometimes it seems that you are with us still,
For your love filled a void in us, that only you could fill.

Our hearts are full of memories we have cherished from the years,
And time has helped us overcome some anguish and some tears,
We're remembering your laugh, remembering your wit, remembering your handsome face,
And trusting that you're walking tall in some beautiful far off place.

Love always from your one & only love Noreen, your children Diane, Darlene, Rick, Debbie, their spouses Roger, Chris, Cathy and Nial, your grandchildren Holly, Nathan, Alex, Jacob, Caleb, Breanne, Regan, Isaac, Rhea, Eli and your great grand-daughter that you never got to see, Sydney.
