In Loving Memory of
Merlin Santana

Merlin, Watching you was a perk to my everyday life. I guess you, nor I, ever knew what you meant to me on Earth until after you passed, but I hope that you are smiling down on all of us that are grieving over your death. Not until the tragedy happened did I realize how much you had to offer us and how appreciative we have to be of those that are with us, because life is never promised. Although I loved you, God loved you more- at least I find comfort in knowing that you are with him. After all, things could be worse! I'll never forget you. However, I hope that you will lend a helping hand down here one more time to push all of us onto the road of recovery. May God BLESS your family- if I am going through this much grief, lord must only know how much they are going through. We love you. We miss you. We hope to see you again. Thanks for all you have done for me and the many others. I'll miss your laughter...so in your honor I'll end this on a lighthearted note with something that you helped me continue with- at least I will know Spanish perfectly by the time I'm in college because you made me want to learn it even more! Maybe in my prayers one day I'll be able to say something to you in real Spanish versus the broken spanish I use now! LOL!

Que dio te bendiga, Portia- your fan
