It's been 5 months since you were escorted to your eternal home on the wings of angels to be met by your patients that went before you, your father and grandfather, and most importantly by your HEAVENLY FATHER. For those of us still here on Earth, the pain is still very much real, I think back on all that you gave to the world. You loved your patients, you loved what you did and it showed. You were a remarkable man, wonderful friend, gifted surgeon, loving father, husband, brother, son and grandfather. Those of us whose lives you touched will never forget what you gave us. Most of us would not be independant, functioning adults without your expert care, warm and caring bedside manner and compassion and love for us. THANK YOU for being that person. For not only enriching my life but enriching the lives of those who you touched. You saved so many lives by your touch. Thank you for saving my life Dr. Kopits. Sadly missed but NEVER forgotten.
