A light has gone out on earth, but a beautiful new star illuminates the heavens.
Lisa's courage, strength and determination were an inspiration to everyone in her valiant fight with cervical cancer for the past 8 years. Her incredible positive attitude carried through until September 6, 2002, her last day of life.
Lisa Marie was born on February 24, 1968 at Mather Air Force Base in Sacramento, California.
Lisa graduated from David Douglas High School in Portland, Oregon in 1986 and subsequently received her Teaching Credential in Elementary Education from Western Oregon State College. She married her high school sweetheart, Martin Larry Frilot, on August 10, 1991 in the church where her parents were married 25 years before. Two years later on October 17, 1993 Lindsey Tayler was born. Lindsey was and forever will be Lisa's pride and joy. Lisa will live on in Lindsey, not only do they look alike, they have many of the same characteristics: an exuberant love of life, determination, strong will and they both love to talk and say just what is on their mind.
Lisa's family - her beautiful daughter Lindsey, her husband Marty, her parents Bob and Carol Woody and her brother and his family David, Shani and Aiko Woody will always hold Lisa close in their hearts and will keep her memory strong.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race; I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing."
2 Timothy 4:7
We were all inspired by Lisa's incredible courage and beauty. The love in our hearts will breathe life into our memories, allowing her to stay with us always. We will miss her forever.
