This is from the Parents, Sister's Family, Grandmother, Aunt's & Uncle's of the above loved one. This is a rebuttle of any statements made from the top memorial supplied by his (seperated at his time of death wife). The above statements are not fact in any way! We the family of Rusty Courtney are truley sorry for any misleadings of the above memorial. The actual events we will keep to ourselves and consider them to be private information. The only exception to the facts we would like to release is the FACT that Rusty's friend did not put his car in reverse and back over him like stated in the above memorial. A full investigation was done of the accident on behalf of Rusty's parents and sister and was ruled a "complete" accident and the friend was not "legally drunk" as stated. Rusty's friend in the family's eyes is not a murderer. He was just trying to go after his best friend to help him get home safely. This was a tragic "freak" accident that should never have happend, but it did. We the family belive that Rusty was taken home to be with God for a very special reason. And we know he holds no ill will towards his friend who is having to spend the rest of his life living with this. That in itself is tragic.....
