Dear Steve,
We are still hearing about the good and wonderful things you did during your much too short life. Your patients and staff miss you and a "Dr. Gaier" wall has been created in your office. So many little things remind me of you. I think of you so often, it hurts. Other times, I think of you and I become strong. I promised you I would be strong as I "finished your business" and many times, I have had to refer back to things you said or did in order to keep that promise. A lot of families have regrets after a tragedy but I can honestly say, I have none. Our times together as siblings are my most precious memories (as young children but especially as adults). Please know that Debbie and Donna and I plan on continuing our tradition of spending time together, traveling together and just being there for each other. I just needed to let you know how much you are missed and loved.
I LOVE YOU.
KAREN
