This memorial is for Kevin Sheppard, who passed away on 3/9/03, after a long battle with heart, liver and kidney failure. Kevin, you were my best friend, lover, soulmate. When we met 5 years ago, we both knew from that first meeting it was something special! You have battled your disability since you were 6 years old. You were hesitant on becoming serious with me as you did not want to burden me with your medical problems. Kevin, I thank you for letting me be a part of your life. I thank you for caring for my children as if they were your own, and I thank you for letting me be a part of your children's lives. We had so many good times with each other and with the children. I thank God for the time we had, despite how short it was. I miss you so much it hurts. I love you deeply, I always will. I know you are with God and finally without pain. I know you are at peace. Until we meet again...I LOVE YOU!
