This memorial is a tribute to a fun loving young man who brought a lot
of joy to all those who knew him. Derek was a good friend to people of
all ages. His love for animals especially dogs and children suggests
his sensitive nature. His love of family and friends is what makes
it so lonely now that he is gone. He will never be forgotten.......... though we cannot glimpse his special smile. We have to trust he is at peace with the glory of the heavens bursting around him. He is smiling at the wonders that someday we will share with him. For now as we look at the sky and nature he so loved we will remember him as the stars shine above.
