Linda Nunez passed away on December 3rd, 2002. She won her battle with cancer (leukemia), but ironically it was her body's resistance to the treatment that took her life. She was 51 years young. Linda started her life in a small town in upstate New York, but her curiosity and love of adventure took her to places such as Denver, Chicago and others until she finally settled in Tucson, AZ. She met a wonderful man in Tucson, whom she married and who stayed by her side until the end. Linda was a very talented artist and jewelry maker. She was a very crafty and creative person. She was kind and had no enemies that I ever knew of. She was a huge animal lover. She was the kind of person that would take in a stray animal at the drop of a hat. Linda was smart and motivated. She had an extensive knowledge of antiques and gemstones, and was an avid collector of both.
Linda has three children who love her and who know that life will never be the same without her. She was a great teacher and a loving mother who can never be replaced in their hearts. I know this because I am the youngest of the three. I love my mother with every fiber of my being and I miss her more than I can comprehend. Mom, I love you and I hope that I can be as good a mother to my child as you were to me. God bless you.
Love always,
Megan
