In Loving Memory of
My Momma

Momma...... you are my stars above watching over me reflecting the goodness of this world. I see you in my eyes hazel like yours and I feel you in my heart beating constant though the pain inside is raging. Your blood flows in my veins fluid like a flowing river, wild and strong like the west plains mustangs. I hear your voice on the wind whispering through the pines softly saying you are always near at like at night when the owls come calling. On days such as these when the first chill is in the air as autumn comes a calling I wish for you to see diamonds sparkling as jack frost dances across the grass in the stillness of this morning. I wish you could tell me your stories of life on the farm and winters in the cabin. Of riding bareback through the fields your wild hair flying, dust and hoof prints your constant companions. I wonder if you know how loved you are forever with a love undying. A child who loves you beyond this grief, this darkness and this sighing. I know the heavens are brighter now and you are forever illuminating. But I just wanted to say I miss you so and that is why I am writing.

Always your babygirl, Janie
