No one could have been a better brother. How we fought when we were young! We didn't just try to hurt each other, we fought to kill! And, what fun memories there are. I talk about you all the time. You were the very opposite of me. Learning came easy for you. I didn't even try. I thought school was to have fun...not learn. You became the successful businessman and I became the school teacher. I still think school is to have fun.
You had so many successes in your life. You were a mentor to many, a strong Christian, and a useful member of your community. Your children turned out so well, too.
But, my dear, loved brother, I just don't understand why you killed yourself. I will never, never understand. If there was a problem, why couldn't we have worked on it together and solved it? We talked often. Yet, you gave me no clue what you were really thinking and planning. You shared with me about your work days, about your vacations (scuba diving, skiing, white water rafting, cruises, etc.). Why not what was tormenting your mind? We were close enough. Or were we too close?
I honestly believe you didn't think you would be missed or that you were loved. If you only knew. You were our hero...all four of your siblings looked up to you as our hero. You still hold that place.
There are so many reported of family members 'visiting' after death to say a final goodbye or to assure the loved ones that everything is ok. I am still waiting and straining to see and/or hear from you. You are so loved and so, so missed.
We will be together again and I can hardly wait. I love you so, so much, my bro.
Your heartbroken sister,
Barbara Jane-o
