Alex Alfaro


Alejandro (Alex) Alfaro, 30, went to the Lord, our Savior on Tuesday, February 17, 2004 in El Paso. He was a lifelong resident of El Paso and was a member of the Catholic Church. As a child, Alex loved to play as a soldier. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing with his friends. As a young man his cheerful attitude never failed as he continued to cherish life with the hobbies he so greatly enjoyed. He was a consummate worker as he enjoyed the pleasure of fixing any type of electrical motor at his and his grandfather's shop, A & A Electrical Motor & Tools. His grandfather worked with him and taught him these skills he so greatly enjoyed. Alejandro touched everyone with his grace and loved everyone he met. He was always overprotective of his younger brother and sister. Alejandro was preceded in death by grandmother, Virginia M. Alvarado, grandfather Eleuterio Alfaro, and uncle Adolfo Alvarado, Jr. He is survived by his parents, Gilberto F. Alfaro, Sr., and Maria del Rosario Alfaro. Brother, Gilberto Alfaro, Jr. Sister, Abel Marie Alfaro. Grandfather, Adolfo Alvarado. Grandmother, Felipa F. Alfaro, 29 aunts and uncles. Pets, Caeser, Xena, Troy Aikmen. Visitation will be Friday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home - Carolina. Vigil Service will be Friday at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest Chapel. Funeral Mass will be Saturday at 9 a.m. at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Joe Avalos, Jose Avalos, John Macias, Cecilio Alfaro, Charlie Valles, Steve Raya, Rafael Pabon, and Jose L. Rodriguez. Alex is always present in our hearts as is our Lord Jesus Christ. We Love You.
