In Loving Memory of
Helen Louise Brown

Helen Louise (Aldrich) Brown died at 11:30 p.m. on June 26, 2004. Helen died a relatively peaceful death, with the help of a well-trained staff, at Marquis Care at Vermont Hills where she resided. Our mother suffered from a hereitary multi-stroke disease that robbed her of her ability to speak, communicate, and walk in her final days. She slipped into a coma after a major stroke June 21. Following my dad's death in February of 2000, She lived at Vermont Hills for most of the remainder of her years, with the exception of the weekends when I brought her home to my house until she was unable to walk, and required lifting. Since dad's death we took her to Hawaii, Seattle a number of occasions to visit with Greg, Jr., beaches, and even Pendleton. She will be greatly missed by her family, and friends, and staff at Vermont Hills where they grew to love her almost as much as her family. Helen was always a gentle, quiet soul with a fiesty spirit. It was her will to live that kept her with us for so long. We pray to God she is at peace. She will be missed so much by her family.
