My dear sweet Michael....It's just four weeks ago today that you left the world in which we live for, what I want to believe is a better place. Your father and I love you so much and we miss you. A day doesn't go by that people don't stop us and ask how we are. How are we? You left us too soon, Michael. Everyone knows that parents are not supposed to outlive their children. And yet it happened. We tried to help you; but somehow we never could. We talked about you at your funeral and I wrote about you in your Obituary. I hope you approve of what I said. Michael, we know that you tried to get off heroin. Dr. Sharon and Dr. Gastfriend were so proud of your progress. Dad and I were so happy to have you at home with us and we feel blessed to have spent time with you. Remember, dinner on the Cape when Dad couldn't find the restaurant or 4th of July at Michelle's or the dinners you made for me after work...Michael, you are a very good person and I hope in Heaven that you'll be at peace with yourself. Please visit me and let me know that you are o'k. Your mother loves and misses you so much. Please know how much you are loved.
