Ever since the day you left us, It seems that time has just stood still; Inside our hearts is an empty space, That only you could fill. It happened all to sudden, We had no chance to say good-bye; The pain is still so real to us, The tears have yet to dry. You were a treasured friend, a precious dad, Whoever knew you was truly blessed; For the day God took you home my love, We lost one of the best. And although I know you're in God's arms, And that you loved God very much; What I would give, for one more day, To feel your tender touch. So until the day we meet again, I will do my best to carry on; But my life will never be the same, Now that you are gone.
