Alvin, know that you were truly loved. The years that we spent together, 31 years, will sustain me for the rest of my life. I want to say that I am so sorry for the pain I caused you, I waited too late to allow you to come home. Know that I regret that decision, and I will be haunted by my lack of trust in you for the rest of my life. Our childen and grandchildren will keep your memory alive.
