-FROM US TO YOU DAD-
Never knew how much you meant to me until the earth quaked as your breath began to shake and I knew that time had passed on by

death runs through sands of time but yet in life you stood up to crime so violent in our minds and bravely you fought as you risked your life for freedom

I never could imagine how deeply your love ran but as the sands of time wash away

we grab onto the memory of days long past and we pray that tonight you take away the sadness left behind

you used to hold my hand like I hold the dirt you're buried in running through my fingers like the sands of time

I grab at the memories that I wont let leave my mind like the times you smiled at me and made the troubles turn to ease

but I know you passed us by on the wings of a dove carrying you up to the sky's above the golden path you walk

and the days pass us by as we lift up our prayers a new journeys day to right and in the sparkling light is a smile so bright filling us with joy and love making us alright

and as the dove fly's high above we know were loved from the one man watching from above.
