Beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, husband, father, cousin, and friend to many, passed from this earth on May 7th, 2006. Breland was loved by many and is sorely missed. Breland was born October 30, 1978. He was born and raised in Houston, Texas and that was his residence at the time of his death. Breland loved music, reading, animals, hunting and fishing, and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Chiara and his son Aidan, his mother and father, Ken and Joyce Dewitt, his sister, Alexa DeWitt and her fiance Jonn Goodman, his grandparents Ed and Henriette Norris and his grandmother Ina Mae DeWitt, his uncle Dan Norris and wife Amber, his cousins Hope, Jonathan, and Ian Norris, his Aunt Shirley Hurst and uncle Tom Hurst and his cousin Christopher Hurst. He is also survived by numerous friends and acquaintances. A visitation was held on Wednesday, May 10 at Carnes Funeral Home in Texas City, Texas. A memorial service was held the next day on Thursday, May 11 at the same location. Breland was cremated and we hold his ashes in memorial urns, and also in a special locket for his wife. Breland, you danced in the flames and that was the way that you lived your life. We who knew you and loved you on this earth know that you are held in God's hands and that you are at peace. We miss you dearly but we so look forward to the time when we will meet again. We will be glad to have you greet us and guide us as we make our transition from this earth to paradise. We hope that you are well on your journey to everlasting life and happiness. May "the road go on forever and the party never end." Bless your heart and soul, bless your spirit and your personality, bless your love for fun and excitement. Bless you, Breland
Love forever and ever, your mother, Joyce DeWitt
