In Loving Memory of
Thelma M. Tennison

On this day that celebrates the Mothers we hold dear, I recall those Mothers Days, When you, Dear Mom, were here, A simple gift, A special card, and a bouquet of flowers, Would brighten up your lovely face, we'd laugh and talk for hours. You always said, "You shouldn't have", but the twinkle in your eye, Showed us all how much you enjoyed your Mother's Day surprise, The joy I had just watching you, perform your daily chores, Such caring, love, and tenderness, In my eyes you were adored. Mothers all around the land, have heard this phrase before, You're the greatest Mom of all, in all the whole wide world, No saying could be better, no utterance more true More words merely escape me, Except for I Love You. Mother's Day without you Mom, Is hard each year to bear, The softness of your touch, your voice I long to hear, Of all the blessings man can have, there's one unlike no other, Than to have and hold an earthbound angel, like the one I called my Mother
