In memory of my beloved Grandfather, Benny H. Padilla (1909-1982). Although I was only a child when you died, I feel that our connection was a lasting bond, one that still holds strong to this day. You were one of the finest men that I have ever had the honor of knowing, and pray that in both my sorrows and my triumphs, that you are there to watch over me, as well as my own child and husband. I leave this memorial in your honor, for a kind and generous soul who was a friend to many, and quite simply a wonderful human being. I love you, Grandpa, and I pray that should I prove worthy enough in this life, that we will be reunited in the next.
