In Loving Memory of
My Mom ~ Rose A. Hartley

My Mom was my hero while alive & remains my hero since she passed away. She was a young mother, only 15 when she had my brother. I came along when she was 16. Although both very young, her & my Dad managed to stick it out & remained together up until her dying day. Since she was so young when she had us, her childhood was taken away pretty much. So, after we grew up, she went to college & became the most caring nurse I have ever met...she NEVER let on to any of her patients that she was having a bad day. Anyone who met her, instantly became yet another friend of hers. She was so full of life, so energetic & a wonderful Mom. Caring & protective, yet gave us our wings to fly. She was only 49 when she passed away on October 26th, 2006 from brain death.....shockingly & tragically, from a fall down the stairs. She passed away & her decision to be an organ donor helped save the lives of 6 people, not to mention burn victims, etc. I miss her terribly & my heart hurts, yearning to hear her laughter, her half dozen phone calls each day & the love I seen in her eyes when she looked at my children. I miss my Mom so much! So very much.

Missing her Mom so much & blowing "chicken kisses" up to heaven. Dawn
