Dear Grandma, I just hope you know that I never betrayed you. I wanted to tell you that day you left on the phone, but circumstances would not allow it. I loved you more than you could ever know. When you were here I tried to show you in every way that I could so you would know how much I loved you. I loved our visits, your great stories about your life and all of the interesting places you traveled in your life. You told the best stories and had the best memory of anyone I ever knew. I miss you so much as I never got a chance to say goodbye to you. I tried to see you but my efforts were blocked. It hurt so much to have others keep you away from us like they did. I was family too, and had a right to see you and say goodbye. I hope you are watching from Heaven and see how much I think of you and miss you. I have a special place with your picture I often talk to you. I hope you check in now and then with me and watch over my life. I will never forget you and will love you always.
