In Loving Memory of
Doris Cole

All I ever needed to know, I learned from my Grandma... 1)Laugh often & loudly, especially if someone has stubbed their toes! Be aware, this principle does not apply if Grandma is the one stubbing her toe! 2) A good cook doesn't follow a recipe 3) If it's a bargain, you buy it even if you don't need it 4) Be thankful 5) A woman should never leave the house without earrings & lipstick. Hair rollers are are acceptable. 6)ziplock baggies can extend a lunch at a buffet to dinner at home 7) Birthdays are important 8) Always give to charities, even if it's just a dollar because you never know if you may need their help some day. 9) Always root for the underdog 10) If you're sad, have a piece of pie. Today is a pie day. My Grandmother was strong, brave, generous, hard working, funny & kind. She may not have been all these things all the time, but she sure tried to be. She was my yard sale buddy, my cohort in junk food appreciastion. We shared enjoyment in the fantasies of the National Enquirer. Grandma was my confidant and my friend. I don't know what life is going to be like without Grandma, But I trust that as we follow her example of strength we will each find our way. I thank God for blessing my life with Grandma & I thank God she's now at rest. We love you Grandma!
