It's hard to believe it's already been three months since my mom died, and sometimes it seems so much longer. She was in the middle stage of Alzheimer's so we thought we had some time, when a sudden illness took her in two days. The one lesson I will carry with me always is never take anything for granted; it can literally be gone in a heartbeat. I will love and miss her for the rest of my life; it's a pain that will never heal
