My Dad passed away a year ago this week. It was a short,but very difficult battle with cancer.Although I miss him every day,I thank God often that the pain he endured was not prolonged. My daddy was not always easy to get along with, but he was mine. I miss him every day and treasure the things he taught me. When I thought he was being selfish or uncaring, I now realize he was teaching me to be a strong and independant woman. He made me who I am today.
