Charles LeRoy Martin was my grandfather. I wish I could have had the opprotunity to get to know him better. He was a great basketball player as a teenager, a devoted military man, and a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a caring man who would give someone the shirt off his back if it helped their situation.
