To the coolest Grandparents ever. Sam had a very tough life as a child, but he never complained and was always cheerful. He was very intelligent and could do mathematical calculations in his head. He smoked a pipe and loved listening to the horse racing on his transister radio. He had a lovely singing voice and was a kind and generous man. I loved him!! Lilly was amazing, she was a fashion icon and always wore a matching hat with her coat. She loved shopping, especially in 2nd hand stores where she picked up all sorts of unusual things. I remember her as having a wicked sense of humour and being a lot of fun. She loved cats and always had white persians. I think I've inherited her love of shoes and handbags as I have quite a collection of my own. She was unique!
