The plane crash that kills her parents changes Lisa's life. Living with sloppy Aunt Alice, Lisa finds escape in the return of Rooji, her old imaginary playmate. Rooji now lives in Elizabethan England, and she and Lisa, dressed as boys, go to London to join an acting company. Lisa escapes the present through imagination but must learn to live an everyday life again--and soon.
