In Loving Memory of
Joseph

After you walked out of my life
Regret infected me
But the deed was already done
It was too late
As we turned the corner
I looked back
And longed to see you
Still there
Waving your little hand
Blinking your big, brown eyes
Brushing brown strands of hair
Away from your face
However what I saw was nothing
Nothing at all
Nothing

And the angels came down and whispered to his mother
Do not weep
For your child is in heaven
Where his hear fills the air
Witht he sound of a lullaby so sweet
That even God shed a tear

Lisa
