In Loving Memory of
Peggy Joy O'Connell

née IDA WEST KNOWLES

June 29, 1916-November 7, 2000

To My Dear Mother:

Every step I take,
I wonder why you're not there.
Every scene I behold,
I want to bring your wheelchair.
The warmer the sunny day,
the deeper the chill I feel inside.
I was so filled with fear,
and now, I'll never see you near.
When I cannot hear your voice,
all else seems senseless noise.

For you, I must go on,
but you will always be inside me.

I miss you, Mom--no one will ever take your place.

Love,

David
