FATHER'S NIGHT
I want to lie awake tonight
I want sleepless worry about paying your bills
I want to worry if your sneakers are too tight
And if its time to buy new
But, a father's job is to let go
And I'm screwing up
My body clock is saying that you need me
A little bit longer-
And you don't
I've been father downsized
I don't want the chance to be a better father
I just want to be yours a little longer
But a father's job is to let go
And I'm screwing up
